Okay, so, for the most part, I'm just broadly commenting on what was going on in my head when I wrote things for this meme, but I was randomly cruising this flist and saw that

wanttobeatree had done real, line-by-line director commentary for hers and it looked like lots of fun, so I wanted to try that out for at least one fic. I'm going with But What Are Your Thoughts on Yaoi? because it's pretty short and I still love it. And I think I remember what I was thinking when I wrote it. So! Enjoy, I guess.

I will do a commentary track on any of my stories, like the audio extra on a DVD, talking about what went into it and my general thoughts on it.

ALSO do you guys actually like getting these recap posts? I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE ACTUALLY WANTS THEM or if they just clutter up flists and stuff.

HOKAY so I was doing friending today (I am the laziest person ever with friending and I am sorry) and saw that this journal is being watched by 500 people, which is a little terrifying. To celebrate this I wanted to do a drabble meme, but then I felt bad because my Christmas meme still has a page or so of unfulfilled requests.

SO here is how this is going to work. It is a combination drabble meme/DAMNIT CHASH DO THIS SHIT meme.

1. Everyone can request one drabble.
2. If you have an unfulfilled request on this post and have not already gotten one fic from it (that is, if you did two requests and got one written, this does not apply to you), you can link the request and either say DO THIS or say I CHANGED MY MIND I WOULD LIKE ANOTHER FIC INSTEAD and do a different request. So, if I have yet to fill your request from my Christmas meme, you get two requests here, one of which can be your old request if you still want it.

THE CATCH is that these will actually be drabbles. Not exactly 100 words, but no more than 400.

Comment with a story I've written, and I will tell you something I knew, learned, or wondered about while writing it that didn't make it onto the page.

This is selfish for three reasons:

1. I am not feeling well, home sick from work, and want something quickish and easy-ish to do while I am around and feeling sorry for myself.

2. I've been thinking about this kind of fic all week and want other people to make decisions for me about how to do it because I was thinking of, like, a billion varieties and couldn't make up my mind.

3. What I REALLY want is for this to actually, like, become a meme that other people do. Because I think about this so much for other people's fic and want them to cave to my whims.

(As a side-note, I am still plotting and planning to get back to my Christmas meme soon. I have, like, a to-do list of things, and I am just so easily distracted it's easy for other things to come up and usurp them.)

SO THE MEME:

YOU pick a scene from one of my fics that you want to see from another character's perspective. I write it! (example: that scene in Jared of Green Gables where Jared forgives Jensen from Jensen's POV.) Lengths will clearly vary, but, yeah. I am kind of enamored of this right now, so if you feel like indulging me, go ahead.

1. Can anyone tell me some timeline stuff about Jensen Ackles' girlfriends? I know he's dated Joanna Krupe and Danneel Harris, but have no idea when those started, how long they lasted (well, Danneel is still lasting, whatever), etc. Do we know this stuff? I am curious! I am pretty well-versed in Jared but know nothing about Jensen except what I read in fanfic, and I'm never sure if that's based in fact or made up. Tell me things! Curiosity sated, thanks guys!

2. I've got enough done on Yuletide and

spn_j2_xmas that I can put this up without feeling guilty. Which means it is time for traditional CHRISTMAS DRABBLES. By which I mean a drabble meme at Christmastime, you don't have to ask for holiday-related drabbles if you don't want. PRETTY MUCH you give me a fandom/pairing and a prompt. Please give me a prompt! I cry when I don't get prompts because I ♥ them. And then I will write you a drabble! Which might have some Christmas theme and might not. And "drabble" is, as always, a loose term. Whatever! Yay holiday season is my point here.

RE drabbles: I mostly do these by request order, but I'll also jump around if I am INSPIRED for one, mostly because I like doing things while I remember/have the sudden passion! Also, feel free to request until December 25! After that, I will probably be drabbled out, and in some kind of turkey-related coma.
