help_japan. As some of you might know, I was a Japanese major in college. My parents taught English in Japan before I was born. I've been to Japan twice; the second time I went, during college, a good friend of mine was teaching in Sendai, and I visited her there. Most of my Friday morning was spent trying to track down friends in Japan to make sure that they were okay, and I feel incredibly lucky that so far, all of them have been.
