Disclaimer: Lies and untruths.

The first time it happens, Danneel really doesn't see it coming at all.

The thing about flying around in a costume is that you develop relationships that have absolutely nothing to do with you with other people who fly around in costumes. She and Jensen still take out their fair share of random completely human criminals, but now she has friends and enemies, people she has to react to when she sees.

Lucifer is an enemy, mostly by reputation. She knows that Lucifer is on a side that is Not Hers, and by definition, that means it's her job to fuck Lucifer's shit up.

So when she sees Lucifer hanging out on a rooftop, minding her own business, there's really not an option other than watching her.

The thing is, it's often hard to tell if someone is doing anything actually villainous at any given time. But at the same time, there's really no innocent reason for anyone to hang out on a rooftop in a costume.

Lucifer's cell rings, and she picks up instantly. "Are you in position?" she asks. She doesn't sound too excited. The answer must be yes, and Lucifer sighs. "Yeah, I'm on my way. I don't like it." There's another pause. "Well, sorry for having standards."

She hangs up, and Danneel wonders what the hell plan they have that Lucifer is feeling squeamish about.

Really, Danneel's doing her a favor when she tackles her from behind.

"You're not going anywhere," she hisses into Lucifer's ear, fumbling into her pack to find her cuffs. A few years back, some genius super developed handcuffs that suppress the standard superpowers--the flight and the strength, mostly, the things regular handcuffs are useless against--and even though he wasn't actually on the side of justice, it wasn't long before the good guys figured out how to make them too.

She's about to clamp them on when Lucifer manages some kind of move with her legs that flips them over, and she knocks the cuffs out of Danneel's hands.

"Oh Jesus," says Lucifer, which Danneel finds vaguely hilarious. And she can't help noticing the note of relief in her voice. "Seriously? Which one are you, Fire Girl?"

"Bombshell," says Danneel, shoving Lucifer off as hard as she can. Lucifer flies back, but regains her balance fast, and dives for the cuffs. Danneel lunges to intercept her, and they grapple on the ground.

And--the thing is. Danneel's about 75% gay. She likes guys now and then, but it's mostly all girls, all the time, and she's been single for a while, and when Lucifer fights, she makes porn noises. And there's always something about fighting that feels like foreplay anyway.

So it's not her fault that rolling around on a rooftop with a sexy girl is kind of getting her hot. Lucifer's costume is kind of ridiculously revealing, in a way that Danneel is pretty sure is meant to have this effect on people--it's more skin than fabric, and her tanned belly looks amazing contrasted to her white top.

It is her fault that she lets it distract her, and that the fight ends with Lucifer pushing her up against the wall of the stairs and cuffing her hands behind her back.

"I win, Fire Girl," Lucifer purrs into her ear, pressing up close behind her, and Danneel can't hold back a whimper.

There's a pause, during which Danneel realizes Lucifer definitely heard that, but she doesn't have time to wonder what that means before Lucifer brings her hand around to stroke Danneel's stomach.

"You don't seem too broken up about it," Lucifer murmurs, rolling the tight spandex of Danneel's shirt up so she has some bare skin to touch. Danneel gasps.

Sex is something that happens, sometimes, in the business. There's adrenaline to work off after a fight, and it's easy to end up fucking one of your allies, desperately, after a victory. Danneel's done it before.

But she's never done this before.

Lucifer's hand move down to her shorts, pushing past the waistband and further, and Danneel whimpers again.

"Wow," says Lucifer, sounding vaguely impressed as she just barely dips her fingers up into Danneel, feeling how wet she is. "Didn't expect you to be kinky, Fire Girl." She leans up and bites Danneel's neck, and that gets a moan. "But you know, I won. So I'm thinking--I deserve a prize, right?"

She steps back, and turns Danneel around. Danneel can see now that she's smirking, and she hooks her fingers in her skirt, pushing it down and off, leaving her in nothing but her spandex sports bra and her fucking thigh-high boots, which--Danneel never thought she had a footwear fetish, but Jesus.

"You get me off, and I'll think about returning the favor," she says, but--it's not an order. Danneel is pretty sure if she said no right now, Lucifer wouldn't force it.

Danneel is also sure she should say no, but--it's been a while. And Lucifer is hot. And it's possible that Danneel has a thing for getting bossed around.

So she just nods, barely, and Lucifer smirks, and fists a hand in her hair, not hard enough to hurt, just hard enough to guide. She leans again the wall herself, tugging Danneel after her, and then pushing her down onto her knees, between her spread legs. "Let's see what you got, Fire Girl," she murmurs.

Danneel's done this a lot before--yeah, usually with the benefit of her hands, but this way too. Except she's never actually been powerless before--she always could have broken out, if she had to, because it's always been regular cuffs.

The idea that she can't--that's even hotter.

Lucifer is already wet too, sticky against Danneel's nose as she nuzzles in first. The angle's not great, and Danneel nudges Lucifer's thigh with her shoulder, hoping she'll get the message. She does, at once, lifting her leg up onto Danneel's shoulder and giving Danneel perfect access to her cunt.

Danneel licks inside greedily, pushing her tongue in as deep as she can. Lucifer gasps, sounding genuinely surprised, like she didn't think Danneel would really do it.

"Oh god," says Lucifer, and Danneel flicks her eyes up to see Lucifer's eyes closed, her hand rucking up her top to play with her breast. "I'm gonna have to learn your name."

Danneel laughs and moves up so she can work her clit, sucking it gently, and that gets a hissed, "Fuck."

She suspects it's been a while for Lucifer too.

"God, go back down," says Lucifer, pushing Danneel back down to her cunt and working her own fingers on her clit. Danneel goes obediently, licking and sucking and feeling Lucifer shaking all around her. She must have gotten pretty turned on too, while they were fighting, and Danneel could ask, but she doesn't much feel like talking.

Lucifer comes hard, with a series of hitching breaths, and Danneel goes back on her heels, looking up at Lucifer and waiting for instructions.

Trying to ignore how dangerous the whole thing is, really. She's gotten used to being invincible.

"Fuck," says Lucifer, laughing a little, and then she hauls Danneel up for a kiss that's mostly teeth. And then she's suddenly yanked away, and Lucifer pushes her up against the wall again and pushes her hand down Danneel's front, working her fingers hot and fast over Danneel's clit, the pace almost painful.

Danneel bites her lip and just gives up, comes so fast it's actually embarrassing.

She's panting against the wall, trying to recover, when she feels Lucifer's lips soft against her neck. "Bye, Bombshell," she murmurs, and then she's gone, leaving Danneel alone and handcuffed on a roof.

That's the first time.

"So--you fucked Lucifer," says Jensen.

Jensen is pretty much professionally celibate--he's too paranoid about someone figuring out who he is to hook up as Hacker or Jensen. Or at least, that's his story. Danneel privately suspects he's still hung up on that kid from high school.

"That sounds wrong. It's not like she's actually the devil," Danneel protests weakly.

"No, she's just evil."

"She's not evil," says Danneel. "I mean, how many of them really are?"

"Okay, she just uses her powers to steal things and hurt people," says Jensen. "Seriously, what were you thinking?"

"I wasn't," Danneel admits. "She pretty much hit all my kinks at once. It was unfair."

Jensen just looks at her for a while. "You could've gotten really hurt," he says quietly. "Seriously, that was dangerous."

Danneel sighs, leaning back and closing her eyes. "I know. It was stupid. It just--happened."

"I don't want you getting hurt," says Jensen.

The concern is what makes her feel really shitty.

"I think she already would have," says Danneel. She told Jensen about the other part, the part where she's pretty sure Lucifer skipped out on something to have sex with her instead. "I mean--"

"Just keep your headset on you, okay?" says Jensen. He smiles at her, shaking his head a little. "I know you're smart, and capable, but--fucking a villain is pretty risky."

"Fucked," says Danneel. "I fucked a villain, past tense, and now it's over."

"Right," Jensen agrees, dubiously.

Danneel can't blame him.

*

The second time, Danneel and Lucifer are both stopping an assault in an alley.

"This is your scene?" Danneel asks, tying up the perp as Lucifer helps the girl up.

"I hate dirtbags like this," says Lucifer. She smiles at the girl, hands her purse back. "Call the police, okay?" she tells the girl gently. "Tell them Bombshell is bringing him in."

The girl nods.

"Do you need us to take you home?" Lucifer asks.

The girl shakes her head. "I'm going to my boyfriend's. He lives close."

"Okay," says Lucifer. She smiles. "You're okay, right?"

"Yes," says the girl. "Thank you."

She scampers off, and Danneel stares at Lucifer for a minute. "You remembered my name," she finally says, feeling stupid.

"Well, you were memorable," says Lucifer.

Danneel's not sure who moves first, but she ends up in control, pushing Lucifer up against the wall, kissing her hard. She tugs off Lucifer's top, pushing her bare back against the bricks of the alley and stroking her thumb over Lucifer's nipple, feeling Lucifer shiver and give in to her assault.

Danneel gets her thigh between Lucifer's legs, feels huge and powerful when Lucifer starts rubbing herself against it, no hesitation at all. Danneel leans down to suck a mark against Lucifer's shoulder, biting and sucking so hard it must hurt.

"Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck," Lucifer is murmuring, "Oh yeah, come on."

"You're easy, huh?" asks Danneel.

"Shut up, you're hot," says Lucifer.

"I'd love to help, but the police are expecting me," says Danneel, pulling back. "You can finish off, right?"

Lucifer stares for a minute. "You're leaving me like this?" she asks, disbelieving.

Danneel smirks. "I'll get you next time."

Lucifer's eyes go dark. "That a promise?"

Danneel licks her lips, suddenly nervous. "Yeah," she says steadily. "Promise."

*

After that, they end up fucking about once a week, always the same--they run into each other, usually when Lucifer isn't doing anything wrong, and get each other off, usually just with their hands, sometimes with their mouths, but always in public, always in costume, and always fast and dirty.

"This is stupid," Jensen tells her, when he comes to pick her up. She feels embarrassed because she's half-naked and handcuffed to a water tower, but it's Jensen. He already knows the whole sordid story.

"I know," says Danneel. "But it's really hot."

"You know Bruiser likes you, right? She would date you. She's not a villain, you know her name--she's hot, right?"

"You are so gay," says Danneel. "She's not--"

"Lucifer," says Jensen, rolling his eyes. "Get dressed and let's get home."

"Thanks," says Danneel, smiling at him.

Jensen shakes his head. "I worry about you."

"Yeah," says Danneel. "Fair enough."

*

It's about two months after the first time when Lucifer actually gets in touch with her.

"Whose communicator do you have?" asks Bombshell.

"I borrowed Hacker's."

"Hacker?"

"Hey, Bombshell," says Jensen. He sounds wary, but--not bad. "I didn't get kidnapped."

"I just wanted to talk to you," says Lucifer. "Can you meet me in an hour?" She names a roof they've met on before.

"And you're not hurting Hacker?"

"No," says Lucifer, sounding amused. "Come on, don't you trust me?"

Danneel doesn't answer that one.

*

"She tracked me down with her iPhone," says Jensen, shrugging. "She seemed--fine. She said she knew we were friends and figured I'd be your backup, in case she did something wrong." He looks wary. "She seemed nice."

"Great," says Danneel. "I'm glad you like her."

"I wouldn't go that far," says Jensen. "You going?"

"Well, yeah," says Danneel. "I'm curious."

"And you're kind of dating her."

"Yeah," says Danneel.

"Well, call me if you need me," says Jensen. "I could totally kick her ass."

Danneel snorts. "Yeah, so could I."

She heads over a little early, not surprised to find Lucifer already there, waiting for her. She looks--nervous, Danneel thinks. Not that they spend a lot of time talking about their feelings, but she's gotten pretty good at reading body language.

"Hi," says Lucifer, flushing a little.

"Hi," says Danneel.

"I, uh," says Lucifer. She looks down, but then swallows and meets Danneel's eyes with a shy smile. "I had this plan."

"An evil plan?" asks Danneel. "Do I have to thwart you?"

Lucifer laughs. "Um, maybe. I'm actually asking you on a date."

"A date?" asks Danneel, genuinely shocked.

"Yeah. You know, uh--like you do. With people you like."

"Oh," says Danneel.

Lucifer laughs. "Yeah. If you're interested."

"Where would we go?" asks Danneel.

"Nowhere--out," says Lucifer. "Look, um--meet me on the roof of 2004 Oak Drive at 10, okay? You'll be done with patrol, right?"

"Yeah," says Danneel.

"If you don't come, I won't be offended."

Danneel's shocked, actually, by how nervous Lucifer is. It's unlike her. So Danneel leans in to give her a kiss. "I'll come," she says, smiling.

"I would have called," says Lucifer, looking pleased, "but we never exchanged contact information."

Danneel laughs. "Maybe if the date goes well."

Lucifer licks her lips, deliberately steps in close and slides her hand down into Danneel's shorts, pressing a small, cool object right up against Danneel's clit. "To get you ready," she murmurs into Danneel's ear, and Danneel feels the bullet switch on and start vibrating very, very softly. Lucifer smirks at her. "See you in an hour? Don't take it out."

Danneel laughs. "Yeah. See you in an hour or so."

*

Jensen takes one look at her when she gets back on patrol and blushes bright red.

"Oh God," says Danneel. "Please tell me you can't--"

"It's got some kind of--remote system. That's communicating," says Jensen, pointedly not looking anywhere below her neck. "I don't want to know."

"Do you know every time I use something--electrical? Down there?"

"Not if I'm not home?" asks Jensen. He sounds miserable. "Uh. I'm--sorry?"

Danneel groans.

"So, uh, I guess I know what Lucifer wanted," Jensen says carefully.

"She actually asked me on a date."

"Is this a kinky lesbian thing?" Jensen asks. "Actually, don't tell me. I don't want to know anything."

Just then, what must be the remote control function of the bullet turns it up higher, just a little, and Danneel bites back a moan.

"Oh God," says Jensen. "This is going to be the worst patrol ever."

*

By the time Danneel gets to her date, she's kind of going nuts. Lucifer's been teasing her for an hour with the bullet, which never actually moved off her clit the whole time. Danneel couldn't say she was surprised--the spandex in her costume doesn't saw to that--but what was impressive was how good Lucifer was at keeping her from coming, given she wasn't around to actually watch.

She's planning to ask if Lucifer was secretly stalking her, but when she lands on the roof, it's not exactly Lucifer who meets her.

It's a pretty girl with long, dark hair and a nervous smile, wearing a blue sundress.

The smile is familiar.

"Hi," says Lucifer. She's beautiful. "I'm Genevieve."

Danneel stares for a minute, taken off-guard. Lucifer could be lying, of course. This could be a ploy.

But Lucifer hasn't done anything since she and Danneel started--whatever they started doing. Nothing obvious, anyway. And she saves girls from assholes, and--

And Danneel likes her.

Plus, she's slightly out of her mind with horniness. That might be a factor.

"Danneel," she says.

Lucifer--Genevieve--smiles, bright and easy. "I'm thinking about switching sides. Petty crime isn't really me."

Danneel laughs. "That's great. I'm happy for you. Are you going to get me off any time soon?"

Genevieve looks horrified. "I would never put out on the first date?" She winks. "I'm a good girl now."

Danneel groans as she feels the vibrator kick up a notch. "Are you kidding? You're pure evil."

"I made you dinner," says Genevieve hopefully. "And I promise I'll get you off before dessert."

Danneel might be in love.
